Thomas McLaughlin set up the premium cycling clothing company with its base in Manorcunninghan launched online in December 2015. The name Tadáias name is the Irish translation of Thomas’ middle name Thaddeus meaning: ‘A strong heart undeterred by pain or suffering’. Thomas McLaughlin studied Fashion Design at The National College of Art & Design (NCAD) Dublin and was offered a job by international fashion designer John Rocha. He worked as a fashion designer for almost a decade for John Rocha working on collections for London fashion week, creating outfits for both men and women with a strong focus on tailoring and silhouette. These years of training and working with a world renowned fashion designer have helped in the development of Tadáias. Combining a passion for road cycling and fashion to create a collection of stylish cycling clothing. With plans to develop the Tadáias brand in 2017 into new markets the future looks bright for this Best Start up Business.
